Jim Beam Launches Bourbon-Based Canned Cocktails

May 6th, 2021

It looks like the bourbon wave is riding into this summer.

Jim Beam, the world’s best-selling bourbon brand, has unveiled its new whiskey-based canned cocktail line that comes in two flavors: Jim Beam Classic Highball and Jim Beam Ginger Highball.

The Classic Highball adds a hint of citrus to a combination of Jim Beam bourbon and seltzer for a simple, light flavor, according to a press release from the brand. Meanwhile, the Ginger Highball blends Jim Beam bourbon and ginger ale, offering a ready-to-drink version of the go-to cocktail order. The cocktails clock in at a sessionable 5 percent ABV, and are available nationwide in four-packs for $9.99 or single 12-ounce cans for $2.50.

Though the bourbon market has been exploding recently, Jim Beam is looking to entice even more drinkers into the category.

“Our new ready-to-drink highballs are the perfect way to enjoy Jim Beam in a new, refreshing way – whether you’re a bourbon fan or you’re trying bourbon for the first time,” Malini Patel, managing director for James B. Beam Distilling Co., said in the release.

Sounds like it’s never been easier to enjoy America’s native spirit.
