Alan Wedge is a lifelong baseball fanatic and a history enthusiast. He has visited over one hundred professional ballparks, including nine major league parks. As a kid emulating players such as Detroit Tigers’s Mark Fidrych and Boston Red Sox’s Luis Tiant in the backyard, Alan never imagined he would one day visit Tiger Stadium and Fenway Park.

When not watching baseball, he enjoys reading, researching, and writing about the game. He is a Scottdale resident and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research.
