Synopsis
Chipper Jones, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz. Before those Future Hall of Famers vaulted into Major League stardom with the Atlanta Braves, they were top prospects. What were scouts saying about them? How did they compare to their peers in speed, power and arm strength? For more than 35 years, Baseball America has been the authority on identifying the future stars of the game and BA’s annual Prospect Handbook is the bible for scouts, executives and fans alike. In this new book, we go deep into the Baseball America archives and pull out all our scouting reports for Atlanta Braves players who went on to become Major League stars.
